Sricharan started his musical training when he was 2 years old (or so his parents say). Starting off with carnatic and hindustani vocals, he eventually found himself more interested in playing the keyboards.
During his undergraduate years at IIT Kharagpur, he was introduced to the fascinating world of western music (starting off with classic rock and blues) and found himself drawn to the electric bass. He works with the hypothesis that no music is bad and tries to listen to and appreciate all genres although he will agree that his bass playing is heavily influenced by Porcupine Tree, Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck and Jaco Pastorius.
When he’s not playing music, he studies brains.
